Pecorino Romano Cheese Wedge, 16 oz

They shipped me this cheese with one ice pack. It took multiple days to ship to me. When I got it ,it was molded and literally melted. I sent them photos. I have received no refund even though I emailed them twice with photos.

Having lived near Piccolos for years, then moving to Maine 18 years ago, I find it difficult to find "real Italian" food.
Now, I send an email to Salvatore and receive my Romano cheese in a few days. Couldn't ask for more. Well, maybe I could ask to once again dine next door?

This is a very good cheese. It has the flavor of parmesan without the salt and is much softer, less dry. It is nutty, slightly funky, and makes for a nice white sauce. Fantastic Cacio e pepe or if you are into non traditional Italian the best freaking Alfredo sauce. I mixed cream cheese, parm, and a bunch of this cheese and and salt and pepper onion powder and garlic powder and melted it all together with a half a cup of moo juice. It wasn’t Italian but it knocked the socks off the family.
