Vantia Plain Primo Sale

Primo Sale (first or young salt) is a young sheep’s milk cheese traditionally made in Sicily. During the production process, the cheese is aged in small baskets for 30 days, giving the wheels their trademark pattern. Primo sale has a bright and fresh aroma and is bursting with a sweet milky flavor. It’s the perfect table cheese to snack on.

This product must be shipped next day air in summer months, 2 days air in winter months. If next-day air or 2nd-day air is not selected we are not responsible if the product does not arrive fresh.

This cheese is amazing! The sheep's milk taste is very subtle, as is the saltiness. It is good with Sardinian Corbezzolo honey. It has become a staple in this house.

This cheese is absolutely amazing! The sheep's milk taste is very subtle, as is the saltiness. I just cannot stop eating it. It is particularly good with Sardinian Corbezzolo honey (wild strawberry honey found only in Sardinia).
I shall be ordering more soon - it will become a pantry staple in this household.

so glad to find this cheese since i’m allergic to cow’s milk. it’s stringy & delicious melted. i use it as a replacement for mozzarella.
