Cooked wheat for Pastiera di Grana

I don't bake often, but at Easter our tradition includes Neapolitan wheat pie, affectionately known as Pastiera di Grana. The main ingredient aside from ricotta cheese is the cooked wheat which gives the pie its name. I have been using D'Amico Grano Cotto for the last few years and recommend it both for quality and price.

Great Grain and Incredible Service

I love using this Fratelli D'Amico grain for my pastiera which I make twice a year. It is just the amount I need and cooks very well! Piccolo's delivered the grain quickly and given that it was in glass jars it was very well wrapped. I will definitely use Piccolo's for my future needs and highly recommend them!!!
