El Toro Pure Olive Oil, 101 fl oz | 3 Liters

El Toro was a staple in our italian home, and those in the Rochester NY area, for many, many years. Suddenly it became unavailable. Despite desperate searches for it, we were unable to find it again. Not sure why. But it never left our memory. Every olive oil was compared to it, never measuring up. A few weeks ago, during another search, i found it and purchased it right away. We anxiously prepared a simple dish and were all overjoyed that the flavor and quality was just as we remembered it. Family members went in together on a large order, and others who had seen our post on Facebook ordered their own. This olive oil is smooth, buttery, full of flavor, and enhances any dish perfectly. Thank you for making it available again!

I’m pleased with the oil but it does seem lighter from when I used it many years ago. If you can recommend another extra Virgin oil that would be a heavier richer oil. I like to taste the richness of the olives. I would be very interested in trying a different oil next time if you can recommend something stronger & richer olive taste. Thank you
