Baci Perugina's dark chocolate egg is made by creating a thin, hollow egg shell that contains 2 pieces of their extra dark chocolate truffles with hazelnuts and caramelized cocoa nibs. The truffles are made using 70% dark chocolate that provides strong flavor and a mild sweetness. The treat is mixed with and topped with hazelnut adding a nutty and buttery flavor to the already delicious truffle. cocoa nibs add even more flavor and texture to the truffles that are finished with a thin coating of dark chocolate.
