As part of their Christmas gift I give Panforte to my brothers, sister, mom and daughters every Christmas. It’s something we all look forward to! Just the smell brings back wonderful memories of our childhood!This year there was transportation issues and I was not able to purchase these locally. Of course I was very disappointed. My brother found a link on line and I decided to try it. The Panforte came quickly and the price was inline with what I expected to pay, so Christmas was saved. :-) No, really, it is definitely a family favorite. I even ordered four more after Christmas. I do have one thing I was a little disappointed about, There does not seem to be any clove in this recipe and while the cinnamon is very good clove so much better.
