My favorite espresso, Bar none, pun intended! I use this coffee to form a blend i created i.n order to "tame" my 3 espresso quads a day! I mix the following coffee's in a container before pouring into my grinder hopper- 1 cup Lavazza Dek Whole Bean Decaffeinated Dark Espresso, 1 cup Saquella Caffe Bar Italia 100% Arabica Beans, 35.2 oz and 1 cup Saquella Caffe Espresso Dekaf Tin, Whole Beans, 8.8 oz, as you can see each quad is 2/3 decaf, so its only 3 shots of caffeine a day! All my coffee comes from Piccolo's, and the Bar italia 100% Arabica coffee is 1 kilo or 2.2 pounds! Once i found Saquella Caffe Bar Italia espresso's, it was the end of my life long Illy coffee for me. Incase you dont know Illy no longer makes a dedicated "espresso" coffee anymore and one 8oz can where i am in ny is $17, Saquella Caffe Bar Italia 100% Arabica Beans, 35.2 oz is usually $22 and on sale now for $10.95,(exp date 11/21) i just bought 5 bags and there is no difference to note, get some now while onsale!!! I use a 20 yr old Seaco Aroma manual espresso machine and
a Baratza Encore Coffee Grinder set at # 6 grind, can you say crema, my espresso is like a "cappuccino" with no milk!!! Make the move and get some from Piccolo's!
