The historical formats are the most typical of the centennial tradition of Gragnano. Surely the best known of all is the "Pacchero", but few know the origins of this special format, now also for celiacs. The renowned format of Pasta originates from a very particular all-Gragnan anecdote. At the end of the 19th century, the "scugnizzi" were dedicated to the collection of minuzzaglia (remains of pasta that fell during drying on the street). Sometimes someone tried to keep this leftover pasta for themselves. The owner of the factory, realizing what had happened, punished them by giving them a loud slap, which in the Neapolitan dialect is indicated by the name "pacchero". The Pasta Factory is pleased to also give people with celiac disease the opportunity to taste the renowned Pacchero di Gragnano!

Only good GF pasta

I’ve tried so many GF pastas, and La Fabbrica is the best by far. I always had trouble finding it in stores before I found Piccolo Gastronomia online: excellent service, big selection of shapes, and very reasonable prices and shipping fees. Bravo!
