Nina D.O.P. San Marzano Whole Peeled Tomatoes with Basil, 28 oz

These are the best tomatoes! I use to use Nina's when I had my pizzeria. Used them for every sauce from pizza sauce to marinara sauce to your Sunday pot! Everytime I open a can I rip a little piece to eat it! I use to get asked if I put sugar or baking soda in my sauce to cut the acidity. My customers are always surprised when I tell them no. I never had to with these Nina tomatoes. Try them. Your senses will thank you!

These are my favorite tomatoes for pizza sauce. Simply run them through a hand mill and it’s ready or let it sit overnight in the fridge if you like a little thicker sauce. Great flavor and texture.

Three of the six cans of Nina tomatoes had dents in them. Product and shipping box were intact so cans had to have been shipped already dented. Sent pictures in email twice to "customer service" (if you could call it that). Received no response to my concerns. Will not shop here again.

3 out of the 4 cans I got had bacteria in them from being dented. I opened the cans, and sauce squirted out like I've never seen before.

Nina San Marzano tomatoes are the best! I have used them for many years. They taste great and are easy to mash by hand. Unfortunately, they've become difficult to purchase so when I saw them advertised at Piccolo's, I jumped at the opportunity to buy them.

A word for Piccolo's: Ordering the tomatoes was trouble-free, and delivery was sooner than expected. I would definitely order from them again.
