Rocca Parmigiano Reggiano Per Pound

I was really excited to get this cheese because my town does not have any real parmesan. Unfortunately, it wasn't sent with any ice and the cheese was delivered swimming in oil. It was so hot that a thermometer read in at 102 degrees, and I had the cheese delivered to my hands. I got no responses from the store and had no choice but to throw them away. I only gave them two stars because they delivered it fast, but have ignored my emails. I have no doubt it would have been delicious.

Rocca Parmigiano 3 year aged cheese is buttery melt in your mouth delicious! It's age gives this cheese the crystallized little pockets of magic pop throughout the hunk of cheese you buy that you dont get in the younger parmigiano's! ! Love this cheese on pasta with a traditional red sauce or a brown mushroom marsala souce over some ravioli's. It buttery flavor is great with a nice piece of itialan bread and a glass of Chianti! I like it so much i already used half my order in just 2 weeks, gotta order some more! If you buy this cheese i know you will be hooked like i am, real deal 3 year old parmigiano! Ciao Bella
