Antica Fattoria Ricotta Forte
Ricotta forte is a very traditional soft cheese of Apulia, in Southeastern Italy. It is creamy, spicy and a little bitter. Its preparation is similar to the Greek cheese called kopanisti: the milk is fermented by bacteria and yeast which contribute to the spicy tasty and to the very intense aroma.
This product is hard to find unless you live in a big city with Italian specialty stores. It came pretty quickly with frozen packs. My husband loved it!, will definitely purchase again.
Great cheese 👍 Outstanding website. I will definitely be back for more hard to find ingredients.
Very happy to have discovered Piccolo Gastronomia...we have been looking for this product a long time....needed it for a family recipe...thank you so much...will definitely shop and order from you again!
Traditional cheese from Bari
Fantastic. Thanks for offering this for sale.
Christmas eve dinner wouldn’t be the same without “calzone” onion pie with ricotta forte.
I need more please.
