This style of moka pot is ten times better than the screw on style. I’ve had three different moka pots in my life and this is the best. I does not leak like the others do if you don’t screw them on tight enough and you don’t have to strain yourself taking it apart. The basket is the proper size for the amount of water so the coffee is strong enough. I purchased the 6/3 cup model which means it can make 6 espresso cups or 3 depending on how you place the coffee filter in the funnel. My only regret is that I didn’t splurge and get the larger size, however it is so easy to unhook and take apart it doesn’t matter much because I can take it apart even if it’s still pretty hot unlike the others. Also the instructions are a hilarious read. They are obviously google translated directly from the original Italian.

This is a high quality, beautifully finished moka pot. It is a breeze to use and looks like it will last for many years. Piccolo’s is a pleasure to deal with- shipment was very quick, the pot was well packed and all manuals, etc were included. I would buy from them again.
