Carlo Giannini n.1 Valve, Cod. C980

Refurbished stepdaughter’s pot left on stove too long and my pot from college. The valves were reasonably priced and the service was great especially for such a minor transaction. Will definitely try to plan route to stop in store on my next trip through NJ.

I bought this hoping it might fit my Bialetti Venus Moka pot, but it didn't. However, the item did arrive in good shape and seems of good quality. I'm not returning it because I was willing to take the risk that it likely wouldn't fit, since it was clearly not advertised for my purpose.

Because someone else commented on this, I want to mention I was also impressed with the packaging. The item as you can see is very small and could easily be over-looked when packed in the middle of a bunch of packing media. But it was well-nested and easy to spot.

However, it took them a whole entire week to process the order and then finally ship it. Miraculously, I got an automated email within an hour of my email asking where my item was, saying the order was processed. Then two days later I received a reply to my email from an actual person, just saying it was processed. Simply having stated that an error was made or some explanation as to why it took a whole week just to PROCESS the order would have gone a long way to making up for the lost time.

In all, it took 10 days for the item to arrive to Atlanta Ga from New Jersey, which I feel is completely unacceptable in this day and age.

The shipping option is a bit too long; maybe Piccolo's should rethink the shipping option that they offer. But I receive what I asked for. Thank you. Unfortunately, the envelope that contained the safety valves was thrown in the trash by mistake; therefore, I did not have the chance to try out the parts. I had to put another order. I will provide better feedback once I receive my second shipment

Little bit pricey, maybe. But can't find it anywhere else. Works perfect. I'll get another 12 years out of this one.
