Firm flavour and intense bouquet of aroma characterize this balsamic vinegar, born from the selection of excellent musts and vintage wine vinegars left to mature in old barrels. It is ideal for salads, raw vegetables and uncooked meats, or lightly heated to be added to sauces and condiments.
Characterized by a rich perfume and an agreeable and rounded balsamic acidity, the “Medaglia d’Argento” is an aromatic balsamic vinegar, enhancing the flavors of any dish with its intensity. In cuisine it can be used fresh or can be heated in cooking preparations.
Ingredients: Must of cooked grapes, aged wine vinegar.
Ageing: In French oak barrels, from the 1900s with the addition of aged balsamic vinegar extracted from centuries old casks.
Great flavour balsamic for a good price. Only need a small drizzle as so flavourful. Would recommend and would buy again. Quick delivery. Everything was bagged in plastic/bubble wrap. Glad to have found Piccolo Gastronomia!
