Merro Fillets of Anchovies in sunflower oil, 24 oz - 680g Mason Jar

Great anchovies and because they in sunflower oil they do not get congealed when store in the refrigerator. Highly recommend

hard to find Merro anchovies (rated high for low salt/ high taste) delivered quickly.. not my first order.. highly recommended

I love these anchovies. I find these larger jars of Merros contain larger, meatier anchovies than ones you get in smaller jars. At almost $1 per ounce, the price is great too. While I otherwise really like Piccolo's, and I do appreciate their good intentions of keeping my items from breaking during shipment, I find it a shame that such an great amount of plastic bubble wrap was used in my shipment containing 3 of these jars. I think used or recycled paper, or cardboard separators would be a much less wasteful way to package these glass items.
